rec'd 38 phone calls form these fargin' iceholes today @ our place of business. can't our wonderous & forward thinking government do somthing about this kind of harrassment?
I waited for the whole announcement only to hear press 1, so i predded one and some woman got on the line and asked if i would like to receive free health care and dental.I told her "first of all did you get permission to contact a corporate law office and secondly did you get permission from the president of the United States to offer health care"? That lying cow, said "yes". I told her "no B%#$@, it has not been set in stone, do not call here again!" Then i hung up.
I have a long list of numbers to send to the FCC and the FTC from soliciting calls. It has now grown to around 100 for this year alone. Oh and their number is included.
I am SICK & TIRED of answering my work phone only to be greeted by this stupid robot! Does no good to press numbers. At LEAST every other day I have to listen to this. Why can't this be stopped? AAARRRGGGHHH!
Here is how I deal with these numbers.
1. Check Caller ID.
2. Don't answer the call unless it is Local. And within my area code.
3. Take area code and google it.
4. Let the machine pickup the call, if it's legit? they will leave a message.
5. Google the WHOLE number.
6. Check what is being said about that particular Number.
There is NO way we can deal with all these numbers by trying to talk with them. It won't ever happen. Best way is with machines and other tactics. They are using dialing machines to get our numbers anyway. Once you pick up the phone and talk with a person? they will never leave you alone. Picking up the phone and answering it means they just found a working number and that give them license to keep calling. They get paid if they spend anytime talking with a real person. Almost everything you say will be recorded anyway, so trying to tell them to remove your number is a total waste of time. Just don't answer it if you have caller ID and can see it's not from your area. Chances are it is a telemarketing machine that's going thru numbers faster than you can dial 911.....
