Second call from these a$$holes, today. This time, a male asking to speak with Michael Louse about these "important issues." I started in with the "I am Detective Jeffers..." routine, but had to ring off because another scam call came in on my cell phone while I was telling him "officers will soon be arriving at your location to take a further statement.
Been getting these calls twice a day for the last few weeks. Never leaves a message and has started calling at 8am (most wait until 9, in my experience) as well as anytime in the evening. Finally answered it this morning and it was the Des Moines Register wanting me to resubscribe to the paper. I do have a digital subscription and told her I'm fine with it and don't want the paper delivered. She was a little snippy and said "why not?". Thought that was kind of rude. Hopefully I'm off their list for awhile.
