I tried the fax number several times and no response so at that point I figured it was a scam call as usual from these individual be care it is Christmas time and they are out there like hedge hogs. I decided to call back and a women answered and told her what I was looking for and she stated the account was closed and pd. what the hell here. be care and aware they are out there.
Received a call this morning on my cell phone. Woman stated that they are going to start legal proceedings regarding a payday loan that was taken out on 3/20/12 and the amount they are suing for is $3000 because I never made a payment. Maybe that's because I never had a payday loan...When I questioned her about this bogus loan she became very rude, so I told her to go ahead and do what you gotta do...she didn't like that then started quoting dates to me all the way back to 2010!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM
Don't even waste your time picking up the phone. They have been calling for over a year now threating to pursue legal action. They are trying to scare you in to paying either an old expired debt, or one that is unenforceable. They have never shown up, nor will they ever. It would costs them more to actually legally try to collect these accounts than the amount owed, if they are able to at all.
This is a common ploy by criminals masquerading as debt collectors who are attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt. One of the tricks they use is to call your work place, friends, or relatives repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying. They also use the “process server” ruse who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I have and do no know of what is owed to any company with no name and they also said they were from the us credit bureau of collection never heard of them before in my life tried to google them and no luck I also asked for address for this matter and he said east Kingston NY well and an name like Stephen Jackson well that is not so also so this is a scam and would like it stop so told him he was going to be reported to the Atty General and the police so he hung up on that note
