Robocall from "Corporation for Financial Character" calling on behalf of the "Breast Cancer Financial Assistance Fund". The robocaller machine didn't realize it was talking to my answering machine and asked if it could count on my machine's support when the pledge packet came around.
What kind of fool am I to answer a telephone call I do not know? What kind of fool are you not to leave a message? Oh well, fools rush in where angels fear to tread, and that's you; remember, there are angels watching you, so be careful here on earth!
". . . What kind of fool am I". > > > I always liked the Sammy Davis Jr. version of that. Andy Williams did a good one, & Robert Goulet's was OK. For strange, Kermit the frog did it on the 'Ed Sullivan show'. Has nothing to do with telephone calls, but it's late in the day & it's a nice break from the same-old same-old around here.
