Just got a call from the 515-528-7928 -didn't pick up, but she left voice message:
was half of womans voice, and then also automatic.. Says 2 fraudulent charges will be placed on my husband (called my # - and left voice mail for him). blah blah blah.. SCAM!
you must be one of them. if you are saying that it is real because they would know your address and work address plus they want to know what your ss# is now way this is not a scam
These calls are from one of two companies, which are actually the same. Nichols and Grant/CDR. They change their name constantly to stay one step ahead of everyone. Most of the time they are calling about a payday loan, or they just got your name and number from whomever. They are scammers and have no power to do anything. Keep in mind a summons from court will be delivered by a court authority or Sheriff. They want to scare you enough to get you to pay, hopefully with a debit or credit card and then they can run up the amount and you never hear from them again. That is, until they want you to pay more money. They have been located in New Jersey, Iowa and Texas. If you wish to speak with them, they are rude, obnoxious and will degrade, insult and threaten you and members of your family. They will say they are going to knock on your neighbors door. Just block the numbers, don't answer the phone and ignore. Or tell them what time to show, then wait by the phone with the police on the line at the time they are supposed to show. They never will.
