Call around noon, didn't answer because I had my phone off. Checked this site, since I didn't recognize the number..could have been a distant cousin who lives in Des Moines area. I won't be calling back!
Caller I'd des Moines ia, I cut the call off after 2 rings. I have learned that this procedure works better than answering or letting the call go to vm. They usually don't call back.
I have no clue who is at this number. I know no one in Iowa. Figure another telemarketing call. Funny I have registered on the No Call site several times.
It was a robot with a human voice. "Hi there, can you hear me OK?" I say yes, thinking it's a real person. "Great! blah, blah, blah free trip, blah, all expenses paid." *hang up* Just another stupid scam. The people behind these plots should be strung up by their nuts.
I keep getting calls from this number, too. 515-528-7966. My caller Id just says it's from Iowa, and identifies it as "Sales" ... i like your idea of cutting the number off after 2 rings, if i would have my phone on, but i don't, but if that happens again, that's what i will do.
