Caller ID showed BCOF google search showed it is a likely scam under the guise of breast cancer research foundation of some sort. A search of this site shoes this caller id for a LOT of other phone numbers.
Fundraising for Breast Cancer. You can call and take your name off the list without speaking to anyone. However, the recording said it will take up to 30 days.... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
It did say that if they are calling through a do not call list, to talk to one of their customer service reps.
I don't know, seemed like they will eventually leave you alone. Not that charity is a bad thing. I don't know how much of your donation would go to the actual cause, as I don't know about this place. It could be only 50% or less.
Do your research before giving. Any legitimate place wouldn't mind your questions and concerns. They would actually recommended them and not be offended.
