A man said hello, wanted to know if I had any school aged children at home. I asked why. He said it was because they wanted to know if they were struggling in school. I asked him the company name. Started with a " v" ( I can't remember he said it so fast) so I asked him where he was calling from , he said Georgia. First thought was no, you're not you don't have a southern accent ( I know NOT everyone has a southern accent in Georgia, but he didn't speak broken English either) so I replied with how are you going to "help" my school age children from Georgia if I live in Canada? He said they were well connected with psychologists all over the world blah blah, etc
So I then asked what information he wanted on my kids. "Height, age, weight," I cut him off, I said "how the fu&$ is that relevant?"
He hung up.
I then tried calling the number back, "not in service" type of automated message. So now I've "Googled" it and now leaving my experience here.
Silence, then a digital beep, then a prerecorded woman's voice saying "Goodbye"
Probably a robocall confirming that people pick up the phone when called. Ugh creepy, and annoying. Getting ready to report this to the DNC.
Caller has called more than once. I answered the first time and just got a goodbye when I picked up the phone. It's a scammer of some sort. Ofcourse, when you call the number back, you get a out of service answer.
My teen daughter picked up the call..some guy saying it was the dept of Ed. Scary when random people call and ask about kids. Am definitely reporting it.
