When asked, 'Mike' stated the company is "SEO Associates"; when asked if they were an actual Google partner rather than just some third party, he said "Yeah." When asked if I were to contact Google to see if they were an actual Google partner they would confirm that he paused a bit, then said "Oh yeah, sure! They'll do that!"
They're scammers, folks--They call every few weeks. They're trying to get your business to pay them to improve your ranking on search engines. Yet their callback number is a recording about being put on their do not call list and they have no web site. Rather odd considering their claimed purpose.
Robocall from "Google" stating I hadn't activated my Google+ business profile and that it was important that they speak to the business owner right away. I hung up instead. If they really are "SEO Associates", then they misrepresented themselves by claiming they were Google.
