Warning about this "charity"
Charitynavigator (http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=7722) has them under a "Donor Advisory" because they're under investigation by the NY Attorney General:

"It has been reported that Heritage for the Blind is the subject of an investigation by the New York Attorney General concerning the collection and use of money via its car donation program. For further information, please see the Attorney General's announcement."
