They just called me and left a message that said his its terry please call (516) 200-8490 and ask for terry. didn't give a company name, and i am not calling them.
I've received between five and ten calls from this same company. Each time I'm called, I've asked the caller to take me off its call list, but the calls have continued, averaging between once, per week and once, per month. I just now reported the number to the FCC (https://www.donotcall.gov/complain/complaincheck.aspx).
Just received a call from this number. Could barely understand the woman who was speaking and said she was calling from Discuss Franchising regarding the franchising information I requested.
I am a business owner, but told her I did not request anything and I don't recognize the name of the company she is representing.
We are also in the Federal Do No Call List. Apparently that doesn't do much for the full-time scammers.
Received a call from this number while I was in court. Rushed outside to answer, too late, and when checked my voicemail, the caller, with a negro accent, said, "Hi Bruce, this is Kristin, from Dbllckshclchiel (unintelligible) . Please call back as soon as possible and ask for Kristin". When I checked the area code online and saw the number was from New York (I'm in Texas), realized it was not a potential client, but a telemarketer. Googled the number and found this page...800 notes...which confirmed my suspicions...a scummy telemarketer. Usually the telemarketers hang up and don't leave a message; but, this one was especially annoying since they left a message calling me by my first name, like we were old friends, and then told me to call back as soon as possible. Die, telemarketers, die...please.
