Same deal. Hispanic male telling me my brother got in an accident and gave them my number. Told them they had the wrong number, I don't have a brother.
Spanish speaking male, advised my brother was in an accident, they have his phone and unless I give them money, they will kill him.
Called AT&T the cell phone provider to file a fraud complaint. SCAM. Viewers don't just list the info here....report the incident to the cell/land line provider so they can pursue. I wish I knew who else to contact. These people need to be accountable for their actions.

Caller first said he was paramedic at the scene of a bad accident and that a "brown haired female" had a broken jaw and was badly injured and had dialed my number on his phone. He asked me if that description fit a family member of mine. After I had told him that it could be my mom, he quickly changed his story to say that his brother had been the one that caused the accident, and that they now had my mom in their basement with a gun to her head. He told me if I didn't pay for the damages to his brother's car immediately, or if I hung up the phone, they were going to shoot my mom.
I quickly grabbed my girlfriend's phone and called my dad, who said he was sitting next to my mom and that they were safe and sound. After I hung up on the "paramedic", he continued to call me 6 more times before giving up.
A guy with a Hispanic accent told me my brother crashed his car into his cousin at a gas station. A fight ensued and his cousin pulled a gun on my brother and my brother was with them at their grandmother's house. He couldn't tell me my brother's name or what kind of car he had. I told him I'd get the police to handle it and hung up
