I received a phone call from a guy that said that he was with "The Shell Company". He said that my son had wona prize 6 months ago. But the prize was held up in customs. He also said that they had tried to deliver the prize but they had the wrong address. I hung up on this guy 3 times and told him that it was a scam and that he was a joke. He told me that the prize was for $150,000. So tell me how does money get held up in customs? This is such a SCAM and these people should be thrown in jail and the key destroyed.
Called my home. Unknown how but called my stepdad's then Mom's cell phone. When calling him he says "We have a legal suit against you." I asked for the address he was representing and he wouldn't give it to me. Said he could get fired. Claims to be a officer with badge number NYC00130. After calling the local (516 area code) police department, I called him back and stated I knew he was a scam and don't call my house again. He replied, "You are a piece of SH*T" He sounded very much like Shane Johnson from phone number 573-340-5963 . Both numbers are SCAM!!!!!!!
this is a huge scam and should be reported to the phone company, the local authorities, and if anyone can find this person physical address, I would love to have it. I know several people that would like to pay these a__holes a personal visit
Now they are saying that they are with PCH! It even showed up that way on my caller ID he told me I won 500,000 and it would be delived to me on Monday! He said I needed to write down some info in order to collect the prize when I told him I knew he was a scam artist he hung up!
PCH calls - said they would be delivering it today, then got a call [from Miami customs, badge # ***] saying I need to pay the taxes... blah blah "it's the law". Then they wanted me to wire the 'fee' to them as custom's declaration.
Interesting that they could go into such detail!
And then I hung up...
Thanks Daryle and Moore. PCH called, said they would be delivering a check for $600,000 tomorrow between 10am and 3pm. He said his name was Jack Moore. Jack Moore is the vice president of PCH marketing. But this guy was not Jack Moore. The next day got the Miami call. A woman gave her badge # and said they have a check, can't tell you the exact amount ,she said, but it is a substantial amount. Asked if there was any fees involved she said no. Called 516 204 4169 back, told them i knew this was a scam. They insisted it was not and if i didn't want the check that was fine, but i was still liable for the custom's fees. Ha ha what a joke.
