no message;  the answering machine wont accept any calls

Caller ID said Hewlett, NY.

Robocall began "Please do not hang up. This is not a sales call...."

I hung up.

National Do Not Call list does NOT WORK.
How do I know?
I work at a group home and these calls come day and night. We actually have a spiral notebook next to the caller ID to write the Callers' #'s down. I go through every day and report each one. Too numerous to mention repeat callers going back over a year!

They ring 3 times and hang up. Leave no message. Calls same time of day as other scammers with phone number 540-628-8912, 843-628-6241, 828-676-6207.
