Said they supplied medical supplies to women fighting for their lives and wanted to send me pledge card. She knew my name and kept pushing for donation. I finally hung up on her.
picked up phone and what sounded like a female robot answered asking to speak to the lady of the house. when i said she was not available the call terminated. my phone showed "BREAS CANCER AM"
Got a call from this number said she was sarha and was collecting for breast cancer America and would put me with an operator to take my pledge of either 30 or 50.00. Passed me thru and wanted to take money over the phone, I asked her to mail me a pledge card. She replied that she could just take pymt over the phone and save me the stamp, I told her I don't give my card # over the phone and she repeated saving the stamp. Finally she said she would mail the pledge card verified my address and hung up. Something about this just didn't sound right. Both women I spoke with were super sweet like they have known me all my life, but something just didn't seem right.
I just received a call (after seeing 3 missed calls today from the same #) and was asked if they could send me a pledge card. I told her I was not able to donate at this time and she hung up on me.....no thank you for your time, just abruptly hung up. That was very rude!!! Not everyone is capable of helping and I was polite about it. Hopefully they don't try calling again.
Have been receiving constant phone calls phonied up with a local area code so you think it is a local call. Who knows where they are calling from!! Someone in my household picked up the call and they said they were collecting for some kind of breast cancer group. Never heard of the group and would never give over the phone. Asked them to stop calling. They are still calling. STOP CALLING.
