They hang up call all hours. When call back they answer and hang up who r these people and what is their purpose

OK..so what's the purpose of the call? I'm adding it to my do not call list of #s

I suspect they are harvesting phone  numbers where the owner answers every call.  And they are harvesting times of day when those numbers are answered (ie, when the owners aren't at work).  Lists like that are valuable to telemarketers, tele-scammers and bill  collecters.

They call on weekends all times of the day. I never answer and they never leave a message. Probably a scam.
