received a call from this number and answered. the line disconnected in about 10 seconds. no one spoke. clled the number back and it was a recording informing me i could press a button to be removed from this calling list and it would take 24-48hrs to remove. caller ID says call coming from NY, USA

3 rings, no message left. I blocked my caller ID and called the number back, reached a recording saying "please press any digit to be removed from this list. This will take 24-48 hours." I did not press anything. I hate for them to have my number then they know it exists. jerks.
