Received a call 3-16-15 from a male with India sounding accent saying something about $9,000 government money & then "OK?". I informed him that he was calling my work phone & that the government doesn't owe me any money & hung up on him. The next day, he called my work cell again, while I was at work, & tried to tell me something that my name & phone# were chosen for a $9,000 government grant that I wouldn't have to pay back, & again said "OK?". I asked him who he was looking for, what's my name then. Only my work & close friends & family have my work#, it is not in my name. He said something unintelligible that was definitely not my name. I informed him that I am a first responder for emergency situations (true) & he is tying up my emergency phone & better not call again. That was 3-17-15. Received no call 3-18-15. Hopefully that's the end of it. If not, I'll see if the police or someone can go after this scam artist.
