Call came from: 516-269-8969 0n 07/26/2016. Caller ID said: "Floral Park, NY". I didn't answer. It went to my voicemail. What I could decipher was this: A Pakistani/Indian voiced male is heard through a crackling bad recording wherein he says, "Hello, I'm Kevin Mason and I'm calling regarding important action, executed by the U.S. Treasury, to avoid initial appearance, blah, blah, blah for a federal criminal offense, blah, blah, blah, my number is 516-269-8969, please help us to help you....etc.
I've gotten these same calls from several numbers. They don't ask for anyone by name, they always have a very American name to throw you off their heavy foreign accent, and background sounds of a call center. Previous ones claimed to be from the IRS. I'm blocking this one, too.
Received message from Officer Kevin something or other saying that I was being charged I had criminal charges from the IRS and had to call back immediately.
