I was expecting a call from a NY number, so answered this on the first ring. The caller immediately hung up. I'm assuming it was a test dial to find an active number.
516-274-1818 called me at 7:47 am pst, on 3/2/2017. Left no message. I called them back later and heard this message:
""Hi, this is Jamie from reward redemptions. You recently visited one of our affiliate websites or shopped at a major retail store nationwide and in appreciation we have a $100 voucher for you redeemable at popular stores like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, and many more. Press 1 to receive your $100 dollars. Press 2 if you're not interested."
Another robocall - that says "Hi. This is Jamie from Reward redemption. You recently visited one of our affiliate websites or shopped at a major retail store nationwide. And, in appreciation, we have a $100 voucher for you. Redeemable at popular stores like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, and many more. Press 1 to receive $100 dollars. Press 2 if you're not interested." A search shows this number to be from New York. A land line with a spam score of 97%. also a search shows this is an invalid number.

An unknown, unsolicited call from across the country was received. The phone directory Area Code listing, shows the call may be from the Nassau, NY area, but certainly New York (one search showed Freeport, Garden City, or Glen Cove, NY as possibilities) unless the call is spoofed. The call was blocked by my phone, as I have set it up to not accept any calls unless they are in my call list and l know who is calling.
I recommend "Wildcard blocking" if you are intensely bothered by specific numbers.
I once went onto one of these Reward Redemption websites, and ever since, I have occasionally received strange calls from these kind of phone scams, from MULTIPLE states, so far about 20 or so calls. I look them up via a Google or other search, and put them in my call blocker. If you don't have call blocking capability, one solution is simply to not answer calls unless you recognize the number. However, this is sometimes hard to do, especially for example, if your phone is for a small business and you don't want to miss customers. The government's Do Not Call List seems to be useless, as even though it may stop legitimate businesses from telemarketing to you, it will not stop those scammers who purchase the list from the FTC and then use it to scam call from, thus ignoring the law. I sometimes wish the FTC could require receipt of the purchase records for Robocall devices or their Do Not Call List and cross check that information with scam calls reported on call reporting sites such as this, to help them track down these guys.
