I've gotten 2 calls over two days from this number. Person identified himself the first time as someone from the PBA(Policeman's Benevolent Association) asking for a contribution. I said no …and said don't call me. Yeah that was effective. He called again tonight and I didn't pick up. I heard on Channel 4 news that the PBA does NOT solicit by phone.
Received 4 telephone calls today, Sunday, from this # (shown on caller ID simply as Floral Park, NY). On the 4th call, while we were eating dinner, I answered to what at first sounded a if it were a live person, but was actually a recording from the "NY Association of Police Chiefs." After repeatedly saying into the phone "Hello, can you here me?" a live person came on.
I then asked the person why, on a Sunday, have they repeatedly called me without leaving a message and told them to take my # off their call list and not to call me again.
90 minutes later they called a fifth time. We did not answer.
We received 8!! calls from this number today, a Sunday. We picked up on one or two of them and did not hear anyone on the other end. We were out when a few of them came through, but no message was left.
