This is a extortion operation. They are back. They will call you and people you know and try to extort money from you. Do not fall for their threats, false claims and don't be bullied into giving them a dime. Scam
This same number called my parents today saying that I needed to go to court and call 855-799-3269 with case number 2016337247. I called this number and says its for Chapman & Assoc and e lady tried to verify info and I told her that this was fraud and she said "have fun in court"
I did as well asking if I was going to be available on Tuesday to deliver some legal papers. I asked for the phone number and she said they were sealed, but could give me their phone number and case number. I was just about ready to write down the case number and phone number, when I lost connection or got hung up on. I tried calling back literally seven times and the phone number just rings and rings and rings. I then went to the various county websites to see if there was a case filed that I was unaware of. I found nothing. Is this a scam?
