I got a call yesterday ,and this guy stated that he is from the association from police organizations conference and this is a phone drive for the organizations.
I told him I had called the precinct to find out if they call people soliciting funds for donations, the officer told me the police department does not solicite funds from the people,so I told him to forget it, and I hang up.

These are scammers. The NYPD never solicit for donations. Beware! It's a scam.

Just received it too, this is yet another "Cold Call" to be entered into my 'PhoneTray' list to be blocked!

Got a call yesterday and today. My call blocker app said "it's likely a spam". Didn't bother to pick up
