I actually didn't get a call from this guy--we're a really small company so we have an automated menu instead of a receptionist--but he emailed my super generic 'communications@' address. The email showed up completely blank, so I copied/pasted into Word; below is what I saw.
Note: As a 20-something, I'm automatically suspicious of anyone who sends me something from 'business name [at] yahoo/gmail/hotmail/whatever [dot] com', and this was no exception. Wanted to add this to the thread so nobody buys this bull****!! Be smart & safe out there, folks.

Dear Public Relations/Marketing Department,
I hope you are the correct person to contact
I spoke with your receptionist and she said to contact your business.
I work with an editor with News/View Magazine, Long Island Entertainer, Long Island Browser and several other publications in the New York area.
One of our editors wanted to assign one of our reporters to do a feature on your company and some of their products including:
*Phone Name*
(does your business have any other large button phones for seniors, which might be able to be included in a feature article under $100?)
*Phone 2 Name*
Would you be the correct person to contact to get additional information on your products and for an article?
Thank you in advance for your time and we appreciate any assistance you could give us.
Sincerely Yours,
Edward Arm
