I got one too Glen Head NY 516-403-8617. I don't bother picking it up. I have noticed that in the last two months I have been getting a ton of calls like this in caller id. It shows the city and state then the phone number. Has anyone else noticed this?
CID as Glen Head NY making it appear as though the caller is a local person. Local numbers are being used by various solicitors so that the one being called may be more apt to answer.
Some may be spoofed. Some numbers I call back are the ones that are local with a name. The party that answers say they didn't make a call to my number. In one case the number spoofed was a doctors fax number. I called the office & informed them their number was being used in this manner by solicitors or scammers.
Didn't answer but did call the # back. Rang, rang, rang but no answer.
