I received a text stating they were Robert W Baird and Co., wanting to arrange an interview via yahoo instant messaging. I found this strange a couple of word choices in English language were odd. Although the company exists, it did not seem right. This is the number from which received text messages.
I received a series of text messages on my cell phone regarding some positions that I DID NOT apply to. The number they used to text me is (516) 419.9067. They used the name Rod Westmoreland, the hiring manager for Robert W. Baird & Co. and that I was selected for an online interview. I emailed this company this info in case they wanted to do something about it.
I received the same messages too and I began doing my research right away. I've also called Robert W. Baird and company to let them know about the scam.
