This guy calls constantly, despite having been told not to call, and that we're not interested. He will never get to speak with our pastor. (Told him as much today when he called!) The pastor pays me to keep the annoyance calls from ever reaching her desk.
He's welcome to keep trying, though. At this point, I consider it sport.
This man called my home today asking if "Mr. Jones" was in. I don't know this # so as always I don't say anything when picking up the call...I get that usual delayed wait then a big fake hello! As if I already greeted him, lame. So I say no he's at work, what do you need? He asks who I am? As if I'm telling him. I ask what do you need? Is Mr Jones still the Fire Chief? This jerk obviously doesn't know where he's calling. But reading other comments this is disturbing. They obviously target religious people who they may be getting from some mailing list or donors? Hmmm. This is rotten. Well he wasn't pleased with my answers and hung up. But he will be calling back. Can't wait -_-
Received a call from a Bob Singer with Noble or Global Inudstrial - real jerk. Asked for the manager who was not available. I asked what the call is regarding - he said "Do you really want me to tell you the whole conversation I would like to have with (manager name)? I said that I would like the reason for his call to relay to manager. He said he wants to know what he wants on his sandwich. He refused to leave a phone number. REAL JERK!!
