Started getting these same calls after I called DirecTV a few days ago. Sure enough, after reading these posts I called back and told them to stop calling me. Getting fed up with my cable company, was going to go with DirecTV, but now maybe I'll just switch to Dish Network...
After repeated calls from this number with either no one there or a fast busy, I called it directly and got Direct TV customer service (marketing). I was informed the calls were coming from their "automated dialer."
I have filed a complaint on the Do Not Call federal government website. Suggest others do the same.
