I have received 8 calls today from various numbers all claiming to be US Government Grants Dept. Wow these people are stupid, since when does the government start calling you from Florida, Ohio and then New York (several cities in each state) to give you free money...what a scam. I get calls from them block them and they call again with a new number and its the same person... Wants to give you money/grant.. Told him nobody gives money away for free... Not to call back ... 2 hours later they are blowing my phone up. What does it take to stop them
They have been calling for days- sam MO as above. I work for a county government. I just answer the phone with "You have reached a government agency. You number is being tracked. Fraud prevention is our number one priority." It is amazing if they make it to the 3rd sentence before hanging up.
