Just received a call from this number with an automated voicemail message stating it was Melissa Sanford from Western Portfolio Management. The voice sounding NOTHING like previous messages stating it was that same person but calling me from the 855 area code number. I may still have one or two outstanding payday loans from early last year however, I have paid so many of these collection companies who couldn't even tell me which one they were collecting the debt for in fear of being served or arrested that now that I am currently unemployed? I could not careless. They have harassed me with calls and I ignore them because in NYS payday loans are illegal and it would be a civil suit if anything at all, like a friend who loaned you money taking you to court. These people get your info from the Internet when you first applied for a lender online and scam you with scare tactics. I wouldn't advise you to ignore your debts but I definitely would say don't freak out and run to the bank to pay people who can't tell you ANYTHING but that you will be locked up if you DON'T!
