I just got this call from this number a few minutes ago and when I answered the caller hung up on me. What's going on and who is this caller?

Same here.  They listened and I yelled HELLO and they hung up.

They called my landline at almost 9 p.m., and hung up on my answering machine. When l called the number back, l got a recording that said "Sorry, the extension you dialed is not in service. Please try again." Gimme a break! I will report this to the DNC Registry, though it probably is a waste of time.

Called and left no msg. Blocked em.
