I frequently get these and often ask the caller how they sleep at night knowing their job is trying to scam people. This will make them hang up quickly.
Male caller with a Pakistani or Indian accent named "Frank" (probably another Peggy). Called to inform me that my computer was infected with malware. When I asked him who was calling with, he hung up on me.
This type of scam usually works by having the victim send their browser to an infected site to get the malware "cleaned". Instead, the caller implants trojans or gets the user to allow remote access so that they can install key loggers, copy cookies, steal documents/personal pictures, etc.
Do not ever respond to a call like this by installing software or visiting a website that you are directed to go to.

Called and tried to tell me something was wrong with my computer. Male with heavy middle eastern accent. Told him not to call and he hung up on me. Pretty sure it's a scam.
