Just missed a call from this number. Glad I missed it! I'm in Seattle so the area code made no sense - and as Agents we've all learned that we are sitting ducks for people trying to sell us leads. Zillow is the worst, but these people sound equally annoying. Everyone wants our money. Irritating!
A man called who could barely speak English, and his accent was so thick it was very difficult to understand him. Could not tell if it was Indian, but could have been. Was calling trying to sell me real estate leads. Since the call area code is from Long Island, the person should have sounded like a New Yawka, so didn't trust the caller and hung up. Caller had phished my information from a website. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but that didn't seem to bother this annoying person.
I got the same indian guy with the real estate leads, felt like a scam so I put him off. He emailed as requested. But, not interested in following up either.
Just got a call from a very thick accented female (sounds like she was from India). Trying to sell real estate agent distressed property leads through their website www.realtybargains.com. Real pushy and wanted me to speak with her "superior" when I wouldn't bite. Said bye-bye....
