Got a call from this number today. When I answered I could hear someone hesitate and then they cancelled the call. This is the second call from this number in a week. They never speak.
I am from Wicklow Ireland. Today I received a call from this number. The man claimed that he was from Microsoft and that there is a problem with my computer. When I sounded incredulous, he called me an 'idiot' and hung up! I guess I didn't have a problem after all! Except of course, how did he get my home phone number?
I am based in Dublin, Ireland. This number 005167172092 called me today. That number isn't 020516... which is a London number. The guy "Dave Brown" and his supervisor "John Brown" both worked for "Windows Maintenance Services" in "London". I played dumb for a little while, telling them my computer did not have a Windows key, and some of the other keys don't work, but that I needed it for my work.
They told me that they would be able to fix all of the errors that my computer is sending to Microsoft. Over 30 mins, I managed to get two pin numbers from them that would allow them remote access to my computer to fix all of the errors that my computer. I never allowed them access to my computer. But when I asked them for more details about the errors, they got stroppy.
I don't believe their names were brown. The only thing brown was the sh!te that they were telling me. So be careful out there.

If you call the number 00 1 5167172092 which is a New York based number, an asian gentleman answers who appears nervous. Tell him that you are from the International Criminal Fraud Investigation Bureau and that his phone line is now being monitored and that he faces a potential long term custodial sentence.
