I got a call this morning from 516-792-6132
No message was left.
I called back the number and found out it was an insurance broker that I had inquired to
a couple of months ago, he just wanted to find out if I was still interested in purchasing insurance.
I told him NO, he responded politely and said that he will remove my name and number from their list.
I received a call from this number this morning on my cell phone. It rang twice and when I answered it there was no one there. I called back to find out it is an insurance company.
I have no idea how this person had my number as I only give this number to close friends and family.
I am not nor have I ever been in the market for an insurance broker.
This is a total invasion of my privacy and there should be a way of protecting us from this type of intrusion.
If he calls back, I will get as much information from him as I can and report him to authorities and hopefully they will stop this from happening!
