Today's IRS scam number. Called twice this AM before I blocked them. Robo call that starts off claiming "final notice from the IRS". GVmail transcript:Filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 516 8175803. I repeat 516 8175803. Thank you.

Called again after I Set the number to go direct to vmail so I got a fuller transcript: "Can you service the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 516 8175803. I repeat 516 8175803. Thank you."  Went ahead and totally blocked them plus forwarded the info to Google and TrueCaller so the can block them for all their users.

Have several calls from this number for several weeks.  Have ignored them for the most part.  Today I answered and actually had a person on the other end. The caller, Eastern male, asked me if I intentionally withheld funds from my taxes.  Said that I was being Audited.  He stated that the IRS had sent letters to my home that were never received.  I questioned him and he said that if I thought this call was fraudulent, then I could just hang up and he would contact the local authorities in my area to arrest me or I could work with him to solve my over $7000.00 debt to the IRS.  Well, I did hang up on him, he called back again, I did not answer, he left the same message as others have stated.  Well, I am still here hours later. Call was generated from New York.

These people are IRS scammers.Block them.

Scam call from person claiming to be from IRS. Stating several attempts to contact me including mail. They say I have been moving so letters aren't getting to my current residence. BS!!! I've been here for years.
Asked how to I get my name off this calling list. He said will cost $100 to remove. Like I'm really gonna send them the money.
