A call from Alexandra Brown was directed to my desk; she called my office and asked for me by name, but would only tell my team member it was a "personal matter." When I answered, she said my nomination bio was brought to her desk, and I had been selected for the Continental Who's Who publication. I asked for the company name again, and when she repeated it I immediately Googled it to see what it was all about; in the midst of this, she also started to confirm my personal information. She already knew the company I worked for, and then asked, "Rather than asking a ton of questions, could you just give me a brief summary about yourself?" She said she had been doing this "for many years, too"; it was unclear if she meant calling on behalf of CWW or if she was claiming to have also worked in my industry. I immediately told her I needed to call her back as I was at work, and she gave me her number and name again.
I also wonder if this is related to National Association of Professional Women; I got, regrettably, sold on membership there, and they are the only ones with some of the "profile" Alexandra claimed to have. I won't be calling back, and will be curious to see if they ever attempt to reach me again.
you have been selected to join out "exclusive" group. limited time offer only $789.00 gets you confirmed (after a short Q+A session to confirm you are as good as you say)

very persistent trying to get a credit card number over the phone immediately.
Been receiving call from this number for several days now. A lady left VM the first time and then someone keeps calling and when I do not answer, the caller hangs up. Last 3 days - get one call every day.
