I just received a call saying she was from windows and I had a virus on my computer and she could help me get rid of it so go grab my laptop. I let her talk for a few min then I said i don't feel comfortable doing this so can I get the number to the windows help desk and give me your name and IF I call them and confirm I can ask for you so you can get the credit. She hung up on me.
I also just got a call,,,517-833-8296,,,,,this is the 3rd state in the last 3 weeks,last week he called from Missouri,and the week before from California,,,he says I have a problem with my Windows on my computer,and wants to walk me through a log on,process.DON,T DO THIS,,,,I KNOW OF A LADY WHO DID THIS LAST SPRING,AND THIS GUY GOT THE WOMENS BANK ACCOUNT INFO,AND WAS ABLE TO ACCESS HER ACCOUNTS,,,,,Tell the guy you are going to report him.
I keep getting calls from this number. A forgein accent telling me i need to buy something for my windows. For computer. Anti virus and things. I knew it was,a scam. Told him to new call again. And hung up.
