Thanks for the reply. They tried again today. My blocker answers all calls not in the white list, and instructs solicitors to remove my number from their calling list. I wonder if that would count as having told them to put me on their internal DNC list. Any way, they're on the block list, so my blocker just hung up on them.
This alleged number here earlier today displaying Children's Cance which is supposed to be some sort of charity. Unfortunately calls from not for profit organizations. If I wanted to donate to a worthy cause I would not do it through a received phone call.
Caller sez Children's Cancer. I don't donate to anyone through telephone solicitations. They did not leave a message, I wonder why not. Most likely a scam to take your money
