While they allegedly identify themselves as a law office, I do not know that they are. You can ask them to send proof via certified letter that the debt is owed and if they can not do so, then the debt is not valid. I just received this call this morning looking for my husband. They were rude and would not tell me what the call was about-just that they need to speak with him only. there would be no reason for a lawfirm to contact us-so I new something was up right away. who the heck are these people??

They are a collection agency and they can place a judgment on you. Try working with them if you own money to any hospital in the area. That is the law office the hospital in the Capital Region uses to make people pay the hospital bill.
