I received a call from the "IRS" stating there was a lawsuit against me. The number showed as 518-570-6996. When I returned the call to tell the agent I would be reporting the telephone number, the foreigner then proceed to say "Go F____ yourself." I then said, "Did you just cuss me?" to which he replied "Go ahead you idiot." Too funny.
The IRS does not initiate contact via a phone call, they first send postal letters.
The IRS does not threaten arrest.
The IRS does not demand immediate payment over the phone.
The IRS does not ask for Credit card, Debit card, or prepaid money card information, at all.
It is a scam ran by offshore criminals attempting to trick you into sending them money.
