520-200-1289, caller ID showed Hayden, AZ. he left a message on the machine..."This is John & I'm calling with the American Police & Sheriffs Association" I doubt that & if he calls again, he still wont get an answer. Must be a new kind of scam
Phony charity for the police, why do these thugs harrass people and then don't even bother to give it to the actual hardworking men and women of law enforcement, ugh.
Received a call today from this number for the second time, except, this time my Caller ID shows it from "Winkelman, AZ". I was able to block the number. This is a scam.
received call from this number, but didn't get to phone on time, so BLOCKED!!! also got 2 calls from John in India from "Microsoft" told him I didn't have an F***** computer and hung up
I tried calling the number back and got that my call couldn't be completed as dialed. It is now blocked, but I get so many calls from these fake police associations, and the number keeps changing, that I'm going to run out of spaces to block them. I accidentally answered once, while waiting for a service person to call, whose phone number I did not know. When I told the guy I was waiting for another important call and I needed to hang up, he tried to bully/guilt me into a donation by asking why I didn't support my local police department by not donating. If he truly was an officer, he sure made them look bad by doing that. If it is a company hired by the charity, they should think about dumping them since that kind of statement would breed more contempt from folks who already have a reason to dislike police.
