I have been getting calls from this same number (and others, playing the same game). They ask me to transfer them to someone at my place of business. I have explained many times that I am not the switchboard, because I'm pretty sure they're just trying to cold call someone at our company, and trying to use me as the first step in establishing their credibility. It's not like it isn't REALLY EASY to find a direct phone number for EVERYONE to whom they ask me to transfer their call if they would just look on our flippin' web site. It is APALLING that our telephone companies can't do anything about this kind of clearcut abuse.
Caller is clueless: kept ignoring what I was saying and repeated the same thing over and over. Has cold-called multiple times asking for different executives.
I had the same experience as above; they keep calling asking for people, most of whom are not in our office. Wasn't listening when I asked to take us off their calling list. Super rude
yup, calling asking for people who don't normally come into the office. Told them I wasn't allowed to give out phone numbers and neither should anyone else.
