THIS CALL WAS LEFT AS A VOICE MESSAGE IN MY INBOX AT WORK. THE MAN GAVE HIS NAME AS JOHN HARTSON AND LEFT THE MESSAGE THAT MY ATTORNEY OF RECORD NEEDS TO CONTACT HIM IMMEDIATELY AND IF HE DID NOT THEN THE SITUATION WOULD BECOME AN ISSUE FOR ME.
I DONOT RECOGNIZE THIS PERSON NOR THE PHONE NUMBER.
AN INDIAN MAN NAMED BRIAN ADAM CALLED AND ASKED FOR MY ATTONEY OF RECORD AS WELL I DONT KNOW WHO THIS IS AND I NEVER CONTACTED ANYONE FROM EASY CASH AS HE SAYS...THIS IS SO ANNOYING
I also got a call from this number, the Indian guy called himself Ryan William and claimed to be calling me because the company he works for was handling cases for some parent payday loan company. He told me that I was going to be served at my place of work the next day for Credit Card fraud, e-mail fraud and some other BS. Upon calling back and trying to get more information I was put on hold for 15minutes then I hung up. Called back again, was put on hold and instantly hung-up on. On the third callback I wasn't greeted with the name of their company, all I got was a very gruff sounding "What?". When I pressed them again for more info(company name that was sueing me, contact info of said company etc.) i got again in a pissed off tone "Whats your problem man?". So I told them my problem was that its gonna take alittle over five minutes to go down to my local police department and file a report on this number. Once that was said the person just quickly said (You do what you have to" then hung up. This number has to be part of a scam network that gets your info from payday loan site. I'd recomend if you get called by this number to change you bank, PIN, and email address pronto as i've done.
The same thing just happnd to me today. i scared me at first and then i thought about it. I nver took out al oan the the date he was giving me.I went to my bank got my statements to cover myself and have proof. TThey called my cell unavalible but gave me a number to call back. Once i returned home from my bank i caled back and they tried ot switch up their story in a mean manner. I knew this was a scam im just so out done right now.... I dont know what made me google this number...
i got a call yesterday and they called their selves attorney law firm that was crazy saying they needed 754.00 in fees and all that that scared me to death
