Robocall IDs only as "OUT OF AREA."
Taped message talks about a medical device advertised on TV that I "had requested information about." That's not true of course.
"Press 1 to talk to a representative. Press 2 if you do not want to receive these calls."
I did press 2 but got a message that I would be connected to a representative so I hung up. Odds are the agent was interested more in converting the sale than taking me off their call list.
My gut feeling is that these calls, like the TV commercials, are more intent on collecting my insurance information to be used to commit insurance fraud.
