I was called earlier today by this number 520-253-3577, I missed the call and they left no number. Later this afternoon I received a call from the same number, I answered, there were long pauses sort of like the auto calls. The man on the phone said his name was Raul with a company called HLC, and ask for me by name. Said that my insurance company was processing a tropical pain medication for me. I told him that I had not requested this medication. He said again that my insurance company was processing the order for me. I then asked him who my insurance company was, he told me Medicare and another insurance company which happened to be my insurance carrier. I told him I was not on Medicare and that I believed he was a scammer trying to get information from me so that he could bill Medicare and my insurance company. I told him I wanted nothing to do with him, his company which he had called HLC, and to never call me again. I do believe that this is a scam. My husband and I had recently attended a Medicare seminar that specifically mentioned this type of scam and how they will send you a product and bill Medicare and your insurance company for thousands of dollars. I intend to follow this up with my insurance carrier, Medicare and my Arizona State Fraud Department.
