Calling asking for donation of $100.00. The woman said she was working for the Democrats. I never give over the telephone so do not know if it is for real or not.
We have received several calls from this number, most of the time it is dead air, but tonight a man asked for a women and when I asked who he was calling he hung up.
Calls several times in a day, some days. My VM says phone not answered directly, leave a message. Never leaves any message and I believe I answered this one one time and it was dead air. What's their point?
If you call the number back a recording will tell you its the "Do not call request line", and asks you to leave a message with your number to be put on their "Do not call list".
Your phone\cable company or even the job your applying for is selling your information which is why you are still receiving daily phone calls from alarm, financial, and "political" company's.

All you can do is tell them "Not Interested" or "Wrong Number", and hope that they wont' call back. Or if you want you can use *60, which is call blocking, some phone companies may charge you, but most have unlimited Call Blocking.
