Just received a call from this number to alert me that I had won $3.5 million from Reader's Digest. The caller gave a bogus name and said he was from the Better Business Bureau. I was requested to obtain a Moneypak Paper Scratch Card and load it with $500 to take care of state-to-state transfer charges and taxes and the card should be given to the UPS deliveryman who would verify that I was the winner of the money to be delivered later in the day. Checked with UPS, provided the name of the alleged delivery man and was told that all their transactions had tracking numbers. UPS cautioned me to not respond to this type of call. A further check of the number showed it was generated from Arizona.
It is indeed a scam. just like the jamaican BMW and 2.5 million PCH scam. It's amazing how many people win all of this money and how they can afford to pay them all. Ignore it and it will go away.
