Scam Caller!!! A foreign-sounding man claims to be a computer repair service. Don't fall for this one!
They have lifted an American Sounding man's name ("Michael Chapman") and are using it as a business moniker.
Awful!
Same story. Got a call from fake "windows support." He told me that my windows computer was sending errors to their server. Asked him for the IP address from which these alerts were coming. He claimed that IP addresses were confidential, and proceeded to argue with me about this point. Finally asked him how and why my systems would be reporting in to Windows servers, when every computer in my house either runs FreeBSD or Linux. He hung up.
