This number has called our home phone every day at least once, sometimes more. They never leave a message and the caller id only shows the phone number. When I called it using my home phone it said it needed an area code and a "1", but this is a local number. So I tried the call from my cell phone. The lady that answered just says "thank you for calling how may I help you?" I explained that I was getting calls and wanted to know who was calling me. She asked for the home phone number. I said I'm not giving out my number, I'm only asking what company is calling me, you shouldn't need my number if I'm asking who is calling me. She got really nasty and said she wasn't trying to sell me anything and without giving my number she couldn't give me any information. I said well I'm not giving you that, I want to know what co. is calling me. She finally said they were a "charitable organization". If they were a real charity they would have told me the name of it and answered the phone that way. I told her the number used to be my father in laws and he had recently passed away, so it might have been a co. that he had dealt with (not). She still refused to give me a charity name but said if the number called us again to ask them to have our number taken off their list (yeah right, like that's going to happen). My phone rang at 7:40 p.m. on June 3rd. Caller ID said GOLD CANYON, AZ. I live in Arizona and have never heard of Gold Canyon, so I never answered. The phone rang only 3 times and stopped, a sure sign of a robocall scammer, so I have added the number to my Pro Call Blocker.
Same Gold Canyon AZ people. Some sort of charity scam. There's no end to the number of low-lives who try to prey on the public. These pages really need a category "scammer" because this doesn't really fit into any category below.
I recently received a few phone calls from Queen Valley AZ (520)277-0893. Stating that my warranty on my car had expired, and I had to make a decision today on how much I could spend. Once, I told the lady I wasn't able to pay the down payment she hung up on me
